Q: What is a Zine?
A: A fanzine (zine for short) is a magazine created by fans to celebrate a character, ship, or form of media. Zines can come in both physical and digital formats and typically feature a variety of both art and writing.Q: What are the general expectations of this zine?
A: This zine will center on the relationship between Shinobu Kochou and Mitsuri Kanroji. Canon/canon-compliant and AU content are both allowed. This zine is strictly SFW and heavy gore is not allowed.Q: Can I include other characters/ships?
A: Any characters in the series may be included in a piece. However, the main focus on all pieces will be Kochou Shinobu and Kanroji Mitsuri. Any romantic side ships must be directly approved by the mod team; familial and platonic side ships are allowed without official approval.Q: How old do you have to be to apply for this project?
A: Due to the possibility of a physical project, as well as Demon Slayer / KNY covering more mature themes, all applicants must be 16 or older by the time applications end.Q: How many contributors do you expect to have?
A: TBD; this depends on the results of the interest check.Q: Will this zine have guest contributors?

Guidelines
Contributor GuidelinesWhile applying:
○Please only submit SFW pieces in your samples and portfolio. Submissions with NSFW pieces will be automatically disqualified.○You are required to submit 3 individual samples that you feel best represent your work, as well as a portfolio of 3-10 pieces, including at least 2 not featured as samples.
Please only submit COMPLETE works!○Portfolios can be a Google Drive link, carrd/personal website, tumblr tag, twitter thread, etc. Please make sure that these are accessible to anyone given the link.○Please submit at least ONE Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba-related work. This doesn’t have to be with Shinobu or Mitsuri, but it is highly encouraged!○Please give warnings for potentially triggering topics in your application (i.e. gore, death, alcohol, etc.)○No AI-generated content should be submitted as samples or in portfolios.○All applicants should be 16 or older when applying.By applying for the zine, you agree to these guidelines.On the project:○No bigotry or hate of any kind will be allowed. This will result in removal from the project.○On the same note, please keep politics, religion, and other potentially heavy topics out of the project. This is not a forum for debate, and not all contributors are open to discussion of these topics.○Everything discussed during the project and within project spaces, such as the Discord server, must be SFW. Any NSFW content shared will result in instant removal.○Since the vast majority of communication will be occurring over Discord, all contributors need to have an account. Please create an account before applying, and follow all Discord Terms of Service.○AI-generated content, tracing, copying, or stealing works are NOT allowed in any space in the project. Please only submit your original works. Contributors caught violating this guideline may be removed immediately.○Do not share pieces until given permission from the mod team. This includes samples and sneak-peeks!○All pieces for the zine must be new and created exclusively for the zine.○During the project, the mods will announce when you can publish full pieces, and after the project fully closes, you will be able to do whatever you’d like with your own piece.By joining the zine, you agree to these guidelines, and you agree to respect your fellow contributors and the mod team.
